mid April to early June is about right. Make sure you're in good shape,and you really like vertical; it's a tough hike up and a fast ride down!

April and May is usually prime-time. Before that and you have to deal with avalanches.

Usually at the end of the season is when the Sunday River crowd start to talk about it. Ask on www.sundayriver.com/community for an expert answer (i.e. someone who knows more than me!!)
