Hello all. Before getiing a kitten, I decided to do my research on which kitten food would be acceptable to feed kitty. From my research I learned that there should not be any by-products or gluten, and that the protein source should be the first ingredient on the ingredient list. I think I have found a good brand at last. The brand is Pet Promise. It is listed as a canned entree for cats and kittens. Here is the ingredient list:

Elaine M, I'm not sure if this is what you wanted to know, but on the website, the only thing I found about preotein that was a percentage was this:
Crude Protein (Min) 11.0%
