I would say no. it can result to pregnancy and even aids if your ignorant about the topic and don't use protection.
In theory the uterus can't sustain the pregnancy since a period is a shedding of the lining of the uterine wall which supports a pregnancy. No pregnancy to support, no need for the lining, the period occurs.However there have been cases reported of pregnancy occuring in women with irregular periods.
it depends on when you ovulate. normally a woman ovulates between days 10 and 15 of her cycle (day 1 being the first day of your period). thought every woman is different, and some ovulate erratically (changes every month). there has to be an egg present for you to get pregnant, and sperm dies between 3-5 days in your body, so if you're ovulating either the day you have sex up to 5 days after you could get pregnant.

Yea, its no big deal, just messy. The only advice that I could give would be to maybe try in the shower or right afterwards and make sure to use a towel :) It is a sensetive time so you may get more enjoyment out of it, however, make sure that you are comfortable with it and not just your boyfriend. Its also good because its a time when you are least likely to get pregnant...

This idea squicks out a lot of people for various reasons, some religious, some 'hygienic', but there's nothing inherently dangerous, sinful or dirty about it. You'll feel a lot looser due to the menstrual blood providing serious lube, and you may want to use a towel if you don't want to wash blood out of your sheets (depends on what your flow is like). I usually don't need one.
If you prefer a tighter feeling or just aren't comfortable having sex while on your period...don't do it. It's up to you.

Just depends on you and how comfortable you are with it. I personally enjoy it (although it is messy) because it always seems more intense for me!
Just make sure you have towels handy ... oh and do not believe the wives tale that you can not get pregnant if you have sex while on your period. Although the chances are slim .... it's possible! Because sperm can live in your body for up to 5 days and depending on when you ovulate (everyone is different) they could still be in there!

Well you can, but it gets very messy. A good idea is to do it in the bath/shower so you can clean up afterwards.
Personally I prefer to go down on him but let him finger me while hes doing it, it means you dont have to take out your tampon and theres not really any mess.
If youre not in the mood you shouldnt.
Oh, and if you do, use a condom because you still can get pregnant!

it is very messy however i do not think there is a medical reason you should not. if your boyfiend cant wait 5-6 day, i think that he is insensitive to your needs. if it makes you uncomfortable or you do not feel like it, then don,t. if he is so insensitive to this issue i would have doubts about how he will handle other needs of yours in the future.by the way, speaking of the mess....tell him if he wants it then and you don't, that you will acommodae him if he cleans up the mess. see if he still wants to do it.

your boy friend sound like a jerk. if you have to ask this then you are not mature enough to be having sex. a responsible couple would have done all the research.
Yes you can, but it is gross and if your boyfriend was a real man he would not even suggest it.

I had sex often with the mother of my children when she was menstruating, if U 2 can get by the mess factor, I say go 4 it.
Blood is a gr8 lubricant, dryness will definately be a problem!!

I think it's very gross and nasty. I know I wouldn't. But it depends on the person. If u feel comfortable having sex on ur period that's ur decision.

You can but it is a really messy bloody experience. If you do, I would do it standing up in the shower. I would be very self concious about that because after all, you are bleeding out of your ........... Its pretty gross.
