Did guys find that much hair attractive at the time?

Yes, men did.
But then porn stars changed the trend so girls started do that so they would look like the porn stars that their boy firends were watching. Then men started to expect it.
First of all, I like it better the old fastion way. And don't like the porn stars who are glorified prostitutes to tell us what is in style.
