It is very dangerous! Most hair salons won't even do it! You could damage your eyes permanently...and for what?

Yes, you can dye your eyebrows but unless you are an expert, because they are so close to your eyes it would be best to have it done at a salon. Great care would need to be taken to keep the dye solution from your eyes. My son is a great one for dying his hair - especially weird colors and he said to coat the skin below and above with petroleum jelly to protect the skin and be sure to have a good fluffy towel to hold underneath the eyebrows. choose a dye that is't runny too if you can. Going darker is easier and lighter is harder - and that the eyebrow hairs won't always take the color exactly the same as the hair on your head so some variation in tone will be apparent. Use a toothbrush (obviously one you no longer want to use) to apply dye or if very narrow eyebrows a q-tip. Also at beauty supply stores you can buy special eyebrow/eyelash dye - which might be a good choice in this instance since you're going for the 'darker' look. If not available, try the regular dye - just be very very very careful. NOT good to endanger your eyes! Good luck!!

Take a small amount of the hair dye in the palm of your hand. Dip an eyebrow brush into the mixture and carefully apply it to the hairs of your eyebrows. (This is the method I have used successfully for the last 25 years.) BE VERY CAREFUL not to apply too much as the black dye will stain your skin. BE EVEN MORE CAREFUL not to get any of the dye solution in your eyes. If you do, flush your eyes immediately with cold water. If irritation persists go to an Urgent Care or Emergency facility.
Another method of dying your eyebrows would be to go to a beauty supply store and by a dye kit designed specifically for eyelashes and eyebrows (such as Dark Eyes). These kits usually use a henna or silver nitrate solution for the dye which is a lot safer. You still have to deal with the possibility of staining your skin with any dye and that will take about 1-3 days to go away depending upon how fair your skin is. (This method does not last as long as using the permanent hair dye above, but it is much safer, can be done more often and can be done multiple times to obtain the desired color.)
Last resort, and most expensive, is to go to a salon that specializes in dying eyebrows and lashes.
Good luck. :D

Most people go either way with it, it all has to do with personal preference. Usually when going to a lighter color, people will leave their eyebrows alone so it gives them the "bottle blonde" look, but usually when people go darker, or a completely different shade, their eyebrows get changed as well. Just don't leave whatever stuff you use on your eyebrows on as long as your hair, it will make them fall out, and they take awhile to grow back ;-P

Hi, i would wait until i had dyed my hair first to see the outcome as you can always use a dark brown/black pencil to fill them in. If you are not happy with the pencil then go ahead and dye them yourself as you can pluck them out and they should grow back fine. You could always pay a beauty salon to dye them for you for around £10 or $15? Goodluck hun xx

use a darker (but not black) eyebrow pencil. it will look great. use an eyebrow comb to smooth the brows, and then draw over them with a dark eyebrow pencil. then use the comb again to evenly distribute the pencil marks and keep them nice and smooth. its a lot easier to control than dye, AND you will be able to correct imperfections in your brows (for example, i have a scar where hair doesnt grow, and i draw over it so you cant tell. i also add more of an arch!). try this one:

I dye mine all the time. I use a toothbrush..but a dab of coloring to the tip and brush my eyebrows w/it. You must be careful not to put too much on at once..it could drip into you eyes and cause serious problems. But, you can always add another dab.

It is very possible to do this.....you can either dye them or put a rinse on your eyebrows........you dont want your hair and eyebrows to be different colors b/c that will look funny....take a q-tip w/ rinse or a dye and carefully apply it to your eyebrows...let it sit for about 5-7mins.....and you should be cool....but any product that has to do with dye or rinse should work.....just use whatever you have left over from dying your hair..

You could use some of that eyelash tint stuff (the "extra-long-lasting mascara, that lasts for like, 3 days) or draw on a little brow pencil or powder to darken them up.
For real, permanent dye, ONLY go to a pro! Do NOT use hair dye around your eyes, even for brows!

Technically, you can dye them ( I would ask a professional to do it however!), but wouldn't it be a little cheaper to just buy a black eyebrow pencil and use it instead? I mean, black is a pretty severe color, maybe your eyebrows should be just a little lighter.

You really should get it professionally done b/c the chemicals in the color could affect your eyesight. If I were you, I would buy a darker colored eyebrow gel to use until you can get to a salon that specializes in eyebrow coloring.
