Fine young person, our little blue/green rock existed billions of years before we primates appeared on the scene. Our species, the human species has been here scarcely a tick of the universal clock, in fact, and if we did not exist, life on Earth would have evolted in one merry way or the other..as it had for gosh knows how many millions during the time of the big mean reptiles. We creatures are fortunate because of the path our brains have taken, and of course that remarkable thumb!
