Christians do not "throw out" the first 2/3 of the Bible. It is the foundation of our faith. It IS the Law under which the Jews lived, that is no longer required as Jesus satified the "debt." Jews just don't believe that Jesus was the Messiah. Much of the OT is prophecy for what Christians believe in the NT -- what Jews use for the OT covers their history, laws, prophets and cultural icons.

Yes, there are quite a few parts of the Bible that was left out.
In fact, the Bible as people know it now, didn't exist until a few centures after Jesus died. Back in those days, people in general did not know how to write and whatever thought someone thought or experienced usually got passed along generation by generation by word of mouth.
People who wanted to keep documents were professional transcribers and monks of various monestaries later on. These people took passages of the Bible and interpeted it as they felt the passage meant. Even some Popes manipulated the text to suit their own needs as prients and ministers do now.
So, you can't believe what the Bible says in a Literal sense at all.
I take the Bible with a lot of SALT, about a ton and a half!
There is a very good book dicussing these issues. Its Titled:
Misquoting Jesus; The Story Behind Who Changed The Bible and Why, By: Bart D Ehrman
Enjoy It!
This plus a few other issues is my reason I can not believe in any religions.

The problem is, all of the original books contradicted each other. Most actually portrayed Jesus as a man sent by God, but not a God himself at all. The first person to put forth the idea of the divinity of Jesus and the Holy Trinity was Paul. To fix this, the early Church clubbed together in the 300's CE and decided to filter out books that contradicted what they wanted to teach. The highest ranking Church members voted on what they wanted their official doctrines to be. The most important decision was whether they wanted to teach that Jesus was divine and the literal Son of God, or if he was just a very important prophet. It was close, but they decided that Jesus was divine. This was mainly because of how influential Paul had become through his teachings. He preached probably to more people than all of the Apostles combined. Because of this, most people had heard of his idea of Jesus. They then eliminated any book in the Bible that stated different from this. About 40 different Gospels were circulating at the time, but they cut the number down to 27. Any other texts that were found were burned. They also eliminated any Old Testament books that referred to the coming Messiah as a mere human sent by God, and not God himself. The remaining ones underwent serious revision by the Vatican. They had their scholars copy out and translate (poorly) new versions of the Bible. The scribes had to work at such fast paces that these were unavoidable. Some of these mistranslations were so immense that they have completely changed the Christian religion. For instance, the word that was translated as "virgin" that was used to describe Mary would instead be correctly read as meaning "young girl." Nothing in the original Bible claims that Jesus was born of virgin. The entire idea of Immaculate Conception is only inferred from these texts.
Because of this, there is enormous controversy surrounding the discovery of texts contrary to that of the "official" Bible. People are frightened of alternatives to what they have been taught. They would rather discount these Gospels as hoaxes or the work of the devil than face the possibility of other views.

The "Jews" throw out the last 1/3 and the "Christians" throw out the first 2/3. I am still looking for a bible believer to worship with.

Nope...nothing was "left out". God is perfectly capable of putting into a book the instructions we all need to understand His plans and purposes for this world. God has a plan for the Nation Israel, and for we who are His Body. With the completion of the NEW instructions given to Paul for we who are believers in this present dispensation of GRACE, the Bible became COMPLETE. All that we need is found there.
