Diversity. There are many different people, many different cultures, many different religions, and many different gods. I have my path, and you have yours, and that's OK. I have no problem with people who have different beliefs than I do, unless they try to force their beliefs on me by criticizing mine and attempting to change me. My ways are very live and let live. And if we don't agree, we can agree to disagree, and in all things mutual respect. I believe in loving and respectful dialog as much as possible.

Denial.

How can so many people say that there is not a right or a wrong belief?

It would be lovely to believe that every idea in this world has two valid right sides and that everyone should accept both to avoid conflict. But then that is tagging our indecision, fear, and ignorance with the general sticker of "diversity".

there are many versions of the truth - or perhaps they are only different perspectives.

but just because there are many truths need not imply that there are no lies.

i have no trouble with polyamorous relationships. they are not for me, but as long as women and men have the same rights that should be a matter an adult can make her own choice in.

but i would never celebrate the diversity that allows a forty year old man to buy an eleven year old girl from her parents for sex.

i know people do that. i know people defend it. it is still wrong.

Diversity. It would be downright foolish of me to claim that people who don't believe the same thing are "in denial" and just need to be led to the truth. It's stupid, and sends a clear message of "I'm naive enough to think that I know better than everyone else".

Diversity.

The only denial that bothers me is when I am denied my right to my beliefs; other than that, where matters of faith are concerned, I do not consider anyone to be in denial, as it is all a level playing field.

Diversity is always healthy and hence it is healthy to respect other person's conceptions of spirituality, whether it is pagan or christian or none at all.

People who don't share my beliefs are welcome to go back and practice diversity in whatever God-forsaken third-world hellhole them came from.
