What is your favorite color? or favorite colors? If one of them isn't an overwhelmingly strong color you could paint your room that color.... Of if you like ...say red ... you might paint your room white and paint one wall red so the room doens't appear to close in (get smaller) . Ask your art teacher for help if you like one particular color and want another color that really goes well with that to use as an accent color in the curtains, pillows, rugs, lamp shades, and bedspread. Have fun! It's your room.

maybe pick you're favorite color and either have the two colors be monochomatic like in the same color family) or 2 complementary colors(opposite colors), or just pair two colors that look good together. examples: monochromatic: dark pink and light pink. complementary: a shade of blue and a shade orange are complements.
or go to this website where you can try out different colors on walls. i love it! go here: http://www.armstrong.com/resam/na/home/en/us/virtual-design-tools.html
click design, share, shop online under design my room (near bottom)
at the top click start new project
then follow the instructions
good luck

Go to a site called glidden.com. You can select from any color on their color chart and actually see a room painted in that color, it is really neat!
