This hasn't anything to do with religion...so why did you ask a political question here? Let me guess...You want the Church to rule over all...Okay...I am not going to be a drop in your ocean as your opposition is a bit late...I have opposed the war in Iraq from the beginning...Saddam was never a threat to the US and certainly not to his neighbors...Iran could kick the crap out of Iraq even at it's height. My point is that we were never threatened in any way, shape, or form by Saddam or his supposed WMD and shouldn't have taken any action what so ever. We could have worked covertly to eliminate him as a perceived threat...we didn't and now we're suffering the consequences of prior inaction...he should have been removed in 1991 during the first Gulf War...PEACE!

heres my drop:
We invaded Iraq as the ocean to remove Saddam, who obviously could not stay. On my part, I have talked to Iraqis who fled during the war and before the war. What warlords did in Ethiopia (cause starvation) Saddam did as the PRESIDENT of Iraq. Well off Iraqis only had bread, sugar, and water for most of their lives. The poor didn't even have that luxury. So if you believed you were only a drop in the ocean in Ethiopia, then every American is a drop in the ocean bringing food and freedom to Iraqis

We shouldn't have to spend our tax dollars to feed the pockets of multi-national corporations and foreign interests. These are the reasons we're in Iraq. It's certainly not for the security of the USA or Iraq. If we continue this policy, we'll be a 3rd world country very soon. Multi-national corporations and foreign interests' thirst for our tax dollars will never be quenched. It's up to us to say no more. The killing of thousands, the nuclear wasteland we've created in the ME, the loss of respect around the world is all we have to show for our $1 trillion dollars so far. NO MORE!
The rEVO_|ution will not be televised.

The war in Iraq is so unfair. Many people lost their lives for nothing. The country is ruined completely and the Iraqi people r the only ones who are negatively infected. I don't see the reason why it happened...

I'm a drop in the other ocean. The ocean that I hope will flood Iraq with freedom from oppression - especially to women. I'm hoping for it to flood Iraq with Love and tolerance for humanity - not the desire to murder those who don't follow their radical ideas.
I'm a drop in the ocean that believes we are there for a good and worthy purpose, and I support our President and our troops. So that's my vote - I'm hoping for the Pacific ocean - not the Atlantic.

I'm not really sure what my stance is. I am Canadian, and while we are not taking an active "fighting" role in the "war" too many of our soliders are being killed just for trying to make Iraq a better place for those that live there. Its almost to the point where i would like our troops out of there, and let the Iraqi people sort it all out themselves.........not fair to the people who want our help, but fair to the parents/brothers/sisters/sons/daughters/wives/husbands losing loved ones..........

I disagree with the decision to invade Iraq, but believe I would do more harm than good by being a "drop" in your "ocean." And that is even if it would make any bit of difference, which we both know it wouldn't. No thanks.

The time to take action on the occupation was prior to the invasion. Drumming up support against it now is a tad late.

As Will Rogers said, all I know is what I read in the papers, (and I don't know if that is true) I believe we had no business invading. Since there was no justification for invading, staying won't help, and we should get out as quickly as possible. Then we should offer help, but only in goods, and only if they will play nice.

From what I've heard on a personal level from soilders who are in Iraq, what we are doing there is making a positive difference. We have freed that country from an awful leader and now we are helping them get on their feet.
