It depends on the dog. I know a dog named Salty who is a 3 year old lab who eats raw fish all the timne with no bones. However, my dog has a weak stomach and can't keep fish-raw or cooked down. Your best bet is to at least hold off until your puppy is older. If you notice he has a strong stomach, then give cooked fish a try!

Yes that's absolutely fine for them, be sure to remove bones though as fish bones are extremely dangerous and sharp they could easily damage the dogs mouth or intestines. Raw meat is also good for dogs, including fish so the dog can eat it raw or cooked.

don't know about your puppy eating fish yet. I suggest you go on-line and do some research first. However dogs can eat fish i use to have a Alaskan Malamute and he loved to eat tuna and salmon, all boneless but he wasn't a puppy when we started to notice he liked fish. We kept him on puppy food until he was old enough for dog food and that's my suggestion for your puppy no fish unless hes old enough to eat dog food.

Fish is an excellent food for your dog, I would feed Smelt so you dont need to worry about bones. Or fillet as a precaution, a wild dog can eat the fish fresh caught, but as loved pets I would not risk it. Buy Jack Mackeral, canned not expensive and they love it and it has Omega 3 of course!

Yes, but a complete high quality puppy food should be his main source of food. Make sure the fish is deboned and in small pieces. Give only as a treat and don't overdo.

there are pro and cons about that question. Some dogs cannot eat fish without throwing it up and some vets say it is not good for them. Call your vet and see what he has to say

My dogs love fish. I don't give it to them every day but they do take Omega 3 capsules in their food about 2 times a week. Dogs have approximately the same diet requirements that we do.

NO BONES, please
