I use the magic coat wipes because I know bathing them often is bad for their skin. However, we found out that she was allergic to them and itches terribly when we used to use it. What can I do to get rid of her stench without irritating my poor little pup?

Thanks everyone! I think I'll try the diluting of shampoo method and see how that works out with her!!

First of all You can bath your dog as much as you want to. But you have to use diluted premium dog shampoo. You can even use Baby shampoo, but dilute it first. It will not dry out his skin.

use puppy shampoo give her a bath-those wipes are just for the outer coat of hair dont do anything for the skin-giving a dog a bath 1 every 2 weeks not going to hurt a thing as long as you dont use strong shampoo

bathing once a month with a natural MILD shampoo should be neough, if your puppy is getting REALY stinky between baths (more than just a slight puppy odor) then id REALY suggest having her anal glands checked, her teeth checked and switching her food (all 3 are prime suspects for causing "stinky dog syndrome" (as we call it) ) make sure to use a premium dog foos with no corn in it, meat should be the very first ingredient and NO biproducts.

personally of all 5 dogs in my home i never have to "freshen" any between baths, i keep the bedding washed once a week, and a simple comb through keeps them tidy, they dont get stinky unless they roll in something or eat something that dissagrees with them.

a NATURAL fresh spritz should be enough...you can eaisly make them using water and a few drops of essential oil (ie lavender (cain and able makes my fave brand of dog bathing products)

you could try unscented baby whipes but honestly if shes getting stinky enough between baths to NEED it...id be looking into what would be causeing he to stink so much.
avoind anything with chemicals, or unidentified scent (unless it says "essential oil" or "lavender oil" the scent is carried in Unidentified chemicals that can cause issues.

good luck.

If she smells "really funky" she needs a full-blown bath. I also agree with the advice to check with a groomer or vet to see if her anal glands need to be expressed.
