Why would anyone blame something they know does not exist?
Do you realize how totally stupid an assertion like that is?

lol, it's actually christians themselves who blame god for the hard knocks of life....but it makes them feel better to ASSUME that atheist do it too, that way they don't feel so bad about questioning god cause they'll just blame atheist and say "see they do it too...and they're none believers!!" that way the spotlight isn't on them.

No they can't they are the ones who point the finger of blame not us . A little hard to point a finger at something that doesn't exist wouldn't you say. And that orange suit is jailhouse issue I don't care what he says . Probably blames " god " himself for getting arrested .

I don't think any atheist would blame GOD for their hard times. They'd probably just lament over the fact that life sucks and get over it.
There are people who are Christian who blame GOD for when life gets hard, believe that a GOD that would cause such suffering is not really a loving and merciful GOD as stated in The Bible and then become atheist. :D

I have never heard an athiest use the Lord's name personally. If they do, I am sure it is an expression. People that don't believe in hell use that word as a swear and people that have colostomy bags, still use the excuse 'I have to crap' to leave the room. It is a learned response

Why are you asking a Christian about the thought processes of someone who does not believe? I would think that someone who blames God for the evils of this world is someone who is mad at God. Since atheists don't believe in God, how could they be mad at Him?

I have no idea what or even if they do blame tough times on anything or anyone. If they do blame it on God, they are obviously not an atheist.

I think these people are pointing out the times atheists write Q&A's that SUPPOSE there is a God.
It does worry me a little when they can't understand when we use hypothetical conditions.
For Berry123 (below)
This question is extremely common.

That is a very good question... funny how belief in NO God goes out the door, when you are in danger! All of the sudden, they DO believe... how convenient. But God is NOT a God of convenience. He is often not the one that answers the Atheist prayer, but the enemy of their souls.... oh yes, they don't believe in him either , I forgot!

I just blame the invisible purple dragons that live under my bed. I'm in just as good a shape as anyone thanking Jesus for their good fortune.
