heresay "any statement, other than one made by a person while giving oral evidence in the proceedings, as evidence of any fact or opinion stated" in other words everything in the bible because nothing in it is written by god himself, everything is written by men who claim god told them to do it... therefore statements other than the original one who supposedly made it... if a court won't accept heresay as evidence why do so many god followers accept heresay as evidence?

Ever notice how the word heresy is similar to the word heresay. I imagine it's because they are the same. The way everyone twists everything around to suit thier own purposes.

no,
just as the bible contains the acts of men who did wickedly and other men who did righteously, simply proves that some things are very true.
and if you throw in the fact that the bible also contains the words of demons and witches and ungodly men, then you know for sure the bible is NOT the complete word of God. Neither is it the "authority" that men have to do the works of jesus in his name.

nope, no man takes upon him self the authority of jesus christ, unless it is given in the same way that Aaron was ordained.
a man must be called by jesus and a man must have the laying on of hands to have authority.
so just as one man says he has authority does not mean Jesus gave it to him, nor does a man who is called by jesus personally have the right to say he is ordained. but if he is called can anyone take it away.
i dont think any of this is hearsay. i think it is undefiled

Yes it is!

The old testament is said to have been passed on orally for well over a thousand years and was only put to paper after Christ.

The new testament as to the words of Jesus are all reports of what he is said to have said.

There is no hard evidence here, but you are expected to believe it.

It's spelled "hearsay." And I think they accept it because they've been told there's nothing better. Which is wrong of course, but they have no way of knowing that.

This Q will confuse the fundies -- they're going to think it's about "heresy" which means belief in the wrong dogma.

In a sense it is, you are told by the writers of these scriptures that it is necessary to prove the Truth within yourself.

To his disciple Clement, Peter proclaimed that unless you learn the Mysteries of God from what was called the True Prophet or one of his disciples, then you possess no real knowledge of any substance -- i.e., “Hence, O beloved Clement", proclaims Peter, “if you would know the things pertaining to God, you have to learn them from Him alone, because He alone knows the truth. For if any one else knows anything, he has received it from Him or from His disciples”.

The problem is that, in order to learn from the True Prophet, the necessary lifestyle and mindset had to be embraced in every aspect of the seekers life. These men that have lived in such a manner so as to have learned directly from the True Prophet write what they do to help others live in accordance with the life and mindset required to themselves learn directly from the One. To be a witness, is to portray one reality that you have personally experienced in words that can have some meaning to another so that they may gain some appreciation of what you know. So, the inspired writers of scripture are simply giving you witness and encouraging the proper lifestyle and mindset required for you to also manifest the Law within your flesh.

Unfortunately, the people of this world very quickly corrupted even what they were given (see http://BibleCorruption.com ). And the most spiritual scriptures were preserved among the Ebionite Disciples of Yeshua -- as seen in the statement in the Epistle of Peter and James: "Hear me, brethren and fellow-servants. If we should give the books to all indiscriminately, and they should be corrupted by any daring men, or be perverted by interpretations, as you have heard that some have already done, it will remain even for those who really seek the truth, always to wander in error. Wherefore it is better that they should be with us, and that we should communicate them with all the fore-mentioned care to those who wish to live piously, and to save others." And this Judgment of the Laws embodied in the words that "...it will remain even for those who really seek the truth, always to wander in error", has come upon every generation of Christians since the fourth century.

Today Christians and Athiests, as well as every other sect of man's philosophies dwells in this darkness.

We are told that: "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the mane perfect (and woman) of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works." (II Timothy 3:16,17)

Inspiration means God breathed.

So it is in no way hearsay.

You summed it up at the end my friend. Hearsay = no evidence. Believers will believe what they wish, evidence or not.
