i dont think so...i never cut my ends and my hair grows fine. but it depends on the person. if you are prone to split ends, then its best to cut them off, b/c it will spread up the hair shapt damaging te healthy hair. but no, the simple act of cuttign the hair does not make your hair grow faster...

It isn't true that is will grow faster, but it appears that way because if the ends stay trimmed, it doesn't break off. Hair grows from the root, not the end. Hair grows approx 1/2 inch per month, regardless of whether it is cut or not. But by getting regular trims, it won't break off, which means that 1/2 inch that it grew, will stay intact.

False...it's a myth. What does occur is that your ends are healthier and they won't beak off like they would untrimmed. That makes it seem as though it is growing at a faster rate. How fast your hair grows depends on genetics, and nothing can change that. So, yes go get a trim...a small one.

No, it is not true. There is nothing you can do to make it grow faster, except getting pregnant. :)
It is good to get regular trims though, because then when your hair does get longer, it looks much healthier and breaks less!

Yeap, trimming the dead hair every six weeks helps your hair grow to be healthy. Any hair on the ends you can see through is dead hair and needs to be trimmed.

Only if you trim the ends. Once the ends get split, the hair no longer grows.
