Ive always wondered. what are the five pillars of christianity and why was there such a fuss when denmark depicted jesus as a pig. Why?

First of all, Ur all thinking of muslims not Pig-jesus. And by the why, why are most of u americans muslims and not christians???

The Danish cartoon with Jesus titled "Capitalistic Piglet" published by a student newspaper is too disrespectful to discuss. The Danish government condemned it.
According to the New Testament the five pillars of Christianity are:
1) The virgin birth of Jesus, see Matthew 1:23.
2) The deity of Jesus, see Romans 9:5.
3) The blood atonement of Jesus, see Acts 20:28.
4) The bodily resurrection of Jesus, see 2 Timothy 2:8.
5) The second coming of Jesus, see Acts 1:11.

You are either making a point about the intolerance of Islam as it exists today or are confusing Islam and Christianity.
Good point though. In the modern world when people insult Chritianity's founder most Christians get upset or ignore it but do not demand death to the perpertrators. Islam has yet to reign in its radicals and punish them for barbaric behavior and in some cases supports that behavior.
If the Islamic mainstream keeps letting this go on, the results will not be good.
"God fights on the side with the best artillery" as one conqueror and convert to Islam (at least for show) said.

there are no pillars to Christianity. Eph2:8,9 states that we are save by grace through faith, NOT of works. the 5 pillars was invented by the Muslims to try to earn heaven. But God will not be bribed with our so called "good works" Heaven is a gift, through repentance and faith in Christ.

Christianity unlike Islam does NOT have "5 pillars". We are saved by GRACE, and not of ourselves, it is a GIFT! When we are saved, we are expected to produce fruits as proof of our salvation. Faith without works is dead.
Jesus said we are to LOVE one another. Christians who do not love, lack the witness of change in their lives. We love because HE FIRST LOVED US!

What fuss do you speak of? Did they burn embassies, overturn cars and murder people like the Muslims did over a cartoon?

1- thou shalt always believe whatever is said even if not in bible
2 if in bible, thou shalt be able to remove whatever the pastor says
3- love most people except for gays, abortionists, equal rights advocates, other religions, democrats, etc
4- if in doubt, plug ears and scream Lah Lah Lah until your faith returns
5 anyone who claims not to be a christian is worthy of hell...if they change their mind, they are never to be forgiven save by god itself
