For as long as I can remember I have always hated the food on my plate to touch each other. Even if it's not any kind of liquid. I'm not 22 and still do not let it touch. For big dinners like thanksgiving or Christmas I always have 2 plates with hardly anything on either plate just to keep everything separate. Someone told me this "means" something.. Like a superstishious thing ya no.. What does it mean??

AND KNOW IT DOES NOT MEAN I AM CRAZY!!!

I respect your eating habits. I just eat: whether it touches or is separated. I enjoy my food. :)

Well my uncle eats one thing at a time on his plate until it is all gone, then he turns his plate to the next thing, and so on.

Odds are at breakfast at my moms house, my brother and my dad are going to mash everything together, squirt some ketchup and tabasco on it and dig in.

I notice that I try to eat all my veggies first because I know that I need them, even though I get really full and haven't enjoyed my main course yet! If I drink a glass of milk, I will add ice to it so that it is as cold as I can get it. I will fill the ice to the top of the cup when I get soda at a fast food restaurant for the same reason.

Every one has thier things with food, they just don't notice it.

Lots of people do this...for various reasons. If that's what you're comfortable with and it makes you happy, keep on doing it. I personally don't mind if my food touches, but it bothers some people because they don't like the food mixing or the flavors mixing or whatever. We all have our quirks when it comes to food and eating. I wouldn't worry about it.

It all ends up in the same place all mixed together any how. This sounds like a Obsessive Compulsive Disorder seek professional help so it doesn't get out of hand.

Not crazy.

You just have a kind of OCD.

Just something to take your attention away from more important things in life.

It might mean you have slight ocd but everyone has something that they have to do, but as long as its not intefering with your life, then theres nothing wrong with that
