Why do you blame Him for everything? If man is in control of his own destiny? Why isn't man stopping the world's catastrophes, wars, famines, diseases? Don't you realize that until you give God His Glory, He will not hear from Heaven and heal our land?

Ahaz, I trust that you were not a Marine. For your easily running mouth and the vile attempt at disrespect shows no loyalty to anyone. You are equally shocking to me, yet I will pray for you.

Something like 95% of catastrophes etc are down to man's sin.
If one blames God, then obviously to that person, God exists.
so then, if GOD exists, satan has to exist too!
Why does man blame GOD for everything that goes wrong?
Why don't we hear men blaming satan?
Part of the answer is because satan is a liar and the father of all lies. He is a deceiver.
He has blinded people's eyes so that they will not understand the truth.

Those who say there is no god don't "blame god" for everything. It IS rather ludicruous to think that someone would blame that which they do not believe in for anything at all. Your question "Why isn't man stopping the world's catastrophes, wars, famines, diseases?" implies that no men are, a factual error. Meankind, as a species, has no control over the proceses that cause earthquakes, Tsunami's, volcanic eruptions, and the like, BUT, mankind does rush in and try to aid those affected BY them. Mankind IS finding cures for diseases. The last time I looked, wars were stopped by one side thrashing the other into a state where they had no choice but surrender. I look to man as the CAUSE of wars, which cause disease and famine. Nowhere in the preceding do you see any blame cast upon a deity-concept. If there is to be any blame cast anywhere even remotely in that direction, it is upon what some men do as a result OF their religious beliefs.(See "War").

I've never seen an atheist blame your god for anything. Can you provide an example? They can't blame someone they don't believe exists, can they? I think you might be confusing them asking hypothetical questions to Christians like, "If your God exists, then why do thousands of people die of starvation every year" as them blaming your god when in fact that's not the case. Instead what they're actually doing is asking a question and giving you an opportunity to answer and prove to them that your god actually exists.

I'm an atheist, and I blame god for nothing. Because he is imaginary. I think man should be doing more to fix these problems, but these things have been around since the beginning of time. War is in our nature. And last I checked, natural catastrophes are kind of out of our hands. And god must be ignoring us, because the bible thumping crazies in the south are making enough noise for 10 planets. Still no response from god though. Maybe he likes punishing the whole world because a few don't praise him. Or maybe he's fake. Either way, you're wrong.

I don't blame "him" for squat. I believe that if there were such a friggin' 'all mighty one' our world would not be filled with such catastropy and havoc. If "god" created everything...than why the hell is he letting 'his creation' (man) screw everything up?

I think it's wonderful that people have such faith in a higher power. I'm actually envious. However, I am too much of an intellectual...too much into science and the logic of things to put all of my faith in miricles. I am not going to rely on anyone (I'm talking of 'a god') to keep me on the right track and 'save me'. I responsible for me and all that I do good and all that I do bad. My parents, a bottle of tequilla, and the backseat of a chevy pick up truck are what to blame for my existence...the rest was up to science.

...I do think the bible had an excellent cast of characters.

I commend you and your beliefs and your faith. Please open your heart and mind to those non-believers. Don't argue. I don't think your 'big guy' would like that...you should know that already.

This question is nonsensical. Where are all these atheists/agnostics that are blaming problems on god? If there is a god, why isn't he stopping the world's catastrophes? Why are all good things attributed to god, and all bad things are attributed to humans? How can a god be omniscient (that means all-knowing) and human beings still have free will? If a god already knows what decision you will make before you make it, did you really have the free will to make it at all?

I never blame god for anything. He doesn't exist to me. You cannot stop castastrophies because mother nature is all powerful. Many wars have started from people believing in god. Has man not knocked out polio? How many people would be dead if a man didn't invent penicillin?

Like most have already said, I cannot blame something that I don't believe in. It is unfair on your part to blame a large group of people for something that only a few do. Then again, I guess that is the nature of that belief system.

As a ex-Marine myself I ask you drop the title before you bring further disrepute upon it and if you are a teacher I pity any student of yours as you seem to have far less mental development than a special ed student . 1ST Marine brigade Kaneohe bay volunteered at 17 in 1975 when did you get your dishonorable REMF ? I mean after you were drafted for the army ? Singer song writer and poet ? then how come you are the only one who knows it ? I have cleaned out storage units at auctions and found brag sheets like that before from drug addicted losers and felons who can't stay out of the system usually have to flush about 20 bottles full of psychiatric meds down the toilet from a unit like that .

Humans are in control over their own destiny; it is what god expects of us. Natural catastrophes have nothing to do with man's free will.

And true atheists wouldn't blame something they don't believe in.
