Where can I take her in the San Bernardino or Riverside Counties, CA?

if your dog is from a reputable breeder.... CALL YOUR BREEDER,, oftentimes, they will keep your dog for you til you can find another place.. if you do not want your dog back. they usually have prescreened owners waiting for a dog.... CALL YOUR BREEDER..


if you do not have a dog from a reputable breeder,, but it is a purebred dog.. CONTACT the rescue group for your breed,,, you can do this on the internet.. and surrender your dog there.

if you have a mutt,,, contact any family members,, surely they can foster your baby till you can get other housing arrangements...


remember,, dogs are lifelong committments, and you should do your best to to the best by your dog,, SHE IS COUNTING ON YOU

Call your local pet stores and ask them for names of local rescue groups.

I am very sorry to hear of your problem. Apparently you don't have a friend who would rehome your dog till you find a new home. I used to live in Redlands, and I know the area. I tried to get a rescued Bouvier years ago there.

I believe the Humane Society runs foster homes, which are basically volunteers who house the animals until they are found a home. This deters from the chances of the animal being euthanized. Call the society and see if they can recommend a foster home.

Good suggestions from others about shelter placement. But do you have any friends who could keep her for a few weeks until you see what is going to happen in your personal life??

Go to www.petfinder.com and look up shelters and rescues in your area. Call them up, ask relinquishment, adoption and euthanasia policies and find one that you are comfortable with that can place your dog and won't euthanize it. You don't have much time, so this is your best choice.
