I just made 4000 this year and would like to know how much money i will be gettin back on my income tax check.Im single male with no kids.And im only 17.

You should get all federal income tax withheld returned to you. This will not include social security and medicare deductions

Was anything withheld for federal income tax? If it was, you should get it all back. But if nothing was withheld for federal income tax, you won't get anything back, there wouldn't be anything to refund.

You do not get back the amounts withheld for social security (FICA) and medicare. If anything was withheld for your state, you might or might not get some or all of it back, depends on what state you are in.

It matters more how much taxes you had withheld from that $4000. Check out turbotax.com, they have helpful information on the site.

Depends on how much money you paid in taxes and if your parents will claim you.

When I was under 18 and my mom claimed me, I ended up paying the government almost 300 bucks.
