The dog has been crying all night and then it started running round, it needed a poo but it couldnt have one so when we got the poo out it was full of human hair and now it has a red raw bum and all its doin is lyin in bed. What is this? And what should we do?!

He has probably passed the worst of it. A canine laxative would have helped but its too late for that now. Cat laxatives are safe for dogs, too. Let him rest and see what happens overnight. If he isn't better by morning call the vet. Is he eating and drinking normally. Watch for that overnight. I expect him to recover quickly.

he is probably all blocked up. He must have gotten into hair in the bathroom trash maybe? You can feed him a ban of pumpkin and that may help loosen things up. The poo will be very soft if not mush but it will help him pass the blockage. If this does not help then take him to the vet because it is very uncomfortable and will only worsen as time goes by

I would suggest keeping an eye on the dog and taking to the vet in the morning. If it feels better in the morning then don't bother but if s/he is still uncomfortable then take it to the vet first thing.

It could be any number of things so a vet would be better equipped to help you

get your dog to the vets asap! that isnt human hair it could be worms! are the strands of this stuff long and white ?if so then youve go a problem.

hes probably eaten some hair from somewhere.

id really go see a vet though.
he may have swallowed something else

take it t the vet it might have a wear sickness or skin disease
