Since you're an 18 year old guy, it would be cool if you ran under 4:40 at least for the mile. Why? Well, do you want to be beaten by a girl when she was 14 years old (Jordan ftw!)?

Usually the fastest a treadmill can go is 10mph and that is about a 5:50 mile so you should try to run anywhere around 6minutes and try to work your way up to the 5:50. A good 3 mile time is 22 and under. Which is about a 7min mile pace

ALthough running on the treadmill is not the same as on the road or on a trail, a 6 minute mile is a good goal. On your treadmill vary the training settings and add some hill training to help with speed. But keep in mind that the treadmill is not the same as the road when running. Hope this helps.

ok for 1 mile goal times in a month, i would have to know your starting time, but 6:20 or below would be good. that is if your in good shape. 3 miles i would shoot between 20 and 22, but like is saide, it depends on how your times are now.

Yes you will lose weight but the scale is not where you should be looking for results. When you work out, you begin to gain muscle which weights more than fat, so you may be losing weight but gaining muscle which the scale may stay the same or even increase. You should look to how your clothes fit for best measurements. Keep going, the weight (numbers on the scale will drop soon) Example: I jogged on the treadmill for 4 days at 4-6 miles per day. The scale increased one pound but my tight jeans are now loose in the butt and waist. Best of luck !

You have to provide your current times. Goals have to be relative to your current abilities.
