this is an opinated question, but remeber no bashing other religions. only choose well known relgions such as christianity, budism, hinduism, muslim religon(damn i forgot the name lol), or judiasm, and maybe a couple others, no scientology.
i think christianity is, since all i heard u need to do is belive in god, other religions such as judiasm and some of the muslim religions require praying multiple times a day and wearing certain types of clohing, plus all the good things christianity requires, like beliving in god, and being a good person.

*FearEmbodied- that actually makes sense because obivioulsy it is MUCH MUCh eaiser to not listen to any god or do any of his comandments, then to be like the jews and follow 613 difficult commandments

**2telldatruth- wat exactly is so hard about being a good christian, sure its diffucult to belive and have a connection with god, but surely u must realize all major religions require that and MORE.

After thinking a lot about it for over two decades, and reading some of the issues raised here in R&S, I decided that mystic Deism is the simplest religion.
Deism simply means that you believe in and revere God. Mysticism means that you believe the only way to know God is through love. So I believe in revering God through love.
This means I don't believe in salvation through Jesus because, though I respect Jesus as a great teacher and religious reformer, I don't think Christ is necessary--I don't believe in original sin.
If you strip away the concept of original sin and the need for salvation, Christianity becomes much, much simpler and basic.

For those who consider Taoism a religion and not a philosophy, my vote's for Taoism.
Christianity is not so easy to follow if you read the Christian holy texts carefully. There is no logic there. Nor is there any in the rest of the Abrahamic religions, IMO. That's not bashing - that's my honest belief about these religions, and is the same belief of millions of other people around the world as well.
If you're the kind of person who doesn't care whether they're believing in something that makes sense, then Christianity may be for you.
But you must ask yourself: If you're "believing" in the Christian religion because it's the easiest for you to do in terms of work, then are you really believing in it? And if you're not, do you think you'll fool God that easily?
EDIT:
"dont just say "budhusim" for example, explain why, this aint a multiple choice question"
Never mind. Just believing in something all half-***-like might be the perfect thing for you. Keep on doing what you're doing. Don't strain your brain by trying to think for yourself. Certainly don't commit to anything that will require more effort than sitting on the couch all day eating Cheezy-Poofs.

Lol, how could you forget the name!
ISLAM.
Okay, so I admit,
Out of most of the religions it is not the easiest.
But it is the RIGHT religion.
It is the true path.
And I know everyone has their own opinions,
but that's what I think okay.
Sometimes, the best things you have to work hard for.
And the reward for the hardworking good muslims,
in the hereafter is much much greater.
And what you think of it like that -
Islam isn't so hard after all.
It is a peaceful pure religion.
No matter what the media and those who stereotype say.
Without my religion, I dont know where I'd be.
And anyway it's not about the easiest religion.
If it was about how easy it was,
then why follow a religion at all?

Sorry... believing in God doesnt make you a Christian.
Having a relationship with God through his Son Jesus Christ makes you a Christian, and a born again believer. And NO it is not easy. Its easy to accept his love, but it isnt easy living the Christian life.
The easiest would have to be Atheist. There is no God so you dont have to answer to anyone in the end.

Christianity, because to most Christians, religion is just a cloud that drifts by every now and then. They don't have as much rules as Islam and Judaism do. They can eat pork, drink alcohol, go night clubs and only need to attend church on Sundays, of which half of them don't go to.

Buddhism.
I found christianity to be terribly confusing. Jesus is god's son, but he's also god, and there's the holy spirit thing, and volumes of double-speak. Then there's communion, baptism, catechism. There's nothing simple about it.
I don't think Islam is any better, nor observant Judaism..

The problem is they are all based on lies. (at least all I am familiar with) I understand Scripture to be true, and Christians throw out the first 2/3 and Jews throw out the last 1/3, and Muslims really twist a few big things around -and throw out the last third..... etc

Easiest? After I read your second paragraph, I agree - Christianity. You accept God and you're set.
I think what I practice, Buddhism, requires a bit more understanding and questioning then that. We were discussing "easiest" though
