I don't believe so. In Heaven, there is no tears or sadness. If our loved one could see us on Earth and the trouble and pain we go through, I believe this would make them sad. Therefore, I believe they cannot see us. They are busy having a wonderful time in Heaven. God bless and keep you in His boundless love and mercy.

There is no evidence that consciousness continues after death, and a heap of evidence that it cannot. Therefore, I conclude that they cannot see us.
Belief in this kind of metaphysical silliness enables charlatan stage magicians like John Edward to make a fortune visciously preying upon the grief of others. It makes me sick.

My tradition believes that, after the body dies, you can cross the veil into the alternate planes of reality -- and back again if you like. Some do this to comfort a loved one if you are really worried about them. They may appear to you, send you a smell (like incense of perfume). All in all, yes -- I do believe they can see us, although I don't think they spend ALL their time just watching us cook dinner. They have things to do, too.

I was 7 when my father died. He had been away at WW2 for 2 years so I did not know him well. He died shortly after returning home. My relatives told me often that my father was always watching over me from above. It made me very very paranoid. I did not want him seeing me all the time. Remember, he was almost a stranger tho I had good memories of him.
As to your question, IDK; but I do not think it is a good thing if they are "watching" us. I do not believe they know everything about us like God does.

Yes I think so . Luke 16 makes it apparent that we can see at least to the other place so why not earth? Jesus said we will be like him and so I think we will be able to do all kinds of cool stuff like walk thru walls , time travel, space travel , eat but not have wastes and etc. ... Heaven will be greater than we can even imagine ...
22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. Luke 16 22-26
1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

well I dont know, since their bodies are decaying, but their souls are experiencing eternity, if they are in heaven, I think God lets them know these things, but I guess they'd see us as souls are enabled to see. If they are in purgatory on their way to heaven, they need our prayers, for they can no longer pray for themselves, or receive any more graces, but they are dependent upon us now. when your dead, you cannot do any more, but understand, they are yet alive due to the soul being immortal, they retain their memories their intellect and their will. they desire God immensly, and not being able to go see him is their purification, the final one before entering heaven, who no one defiled may enter, thats good we have purgatory isnt it?

A very wise man once said...
Ecc 9:5 For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.
So no our dead loved ones can not see us on earth

No - that is Hollywood and wishful thinking and it has done a disservice. The afterlife is not connected to this one, except through spiritual principalities that are not dead people.

I think they're too busy & in awe of being in God's presance. Ah, God is looking out for us, and they may see us through seeing God himself.
