I'm no fan of the Mormon religion, however, why dont you focus on a religion that is a true threat? A real threat to our global societies?
I understand your logic (albeit, twisted imo) that this bizarre virus Christians have is stopping humankind from evolving as fast as they could be and we would be living on some other planet already, co-habitating with robots. I get it. However, the fact you only focus on Christian sects, as an atheist makes me question if your atheism completely stems from the fact you find atheism the most logical and rational choice available or if there is a deeper issue. A possible causal relationship with a Christian upbringing or disappointment in your life perhaps. Point is, that Christianity as silly as you may view it to be does do many many good things in the name of God. Sure, our history has been very shady in the far past. You will never see a Christian threatening death to a nonChristian, forcing some sort of conversion. Youll run across a few annoying ones, youll lose respect for a bunch of them because of what they believe.
However, youre missing a major problem we have internationally regarding Islam. My bro in law is Muslim, I dont abhor Muslims. I am aware of what their religion is capable of doing (good and bad.) I am aware that it is happening as we speak. I am also aware that this is a group that is quickly growing and germinating beautitudes of death into young minds, minds that are innocent and open. They are being indoctrinated with a thirst for death, Desiree. This religion that has people of peace within it will be and slowly is turning into a religion that will be engulfed in hate for the non-Muslim. Not only is this biblical and coinciding with events happening today, but it really is happening!
We all have our "revolution" as you call it, I suppose. If you want to focus only on the Christian God whos followers can be irritating and in your view impedidng human evolution, they will never put a sword to your throat and make you choose, period. What we do is out of love. It is not out of hate. We can and will never force anyone. We understand that one has to hear the call with a specific heart condition. If one misses that call or denies that call; there is nothing to be done or can be done; it is done. Does this make sense? You cannot eradicate people due to personal views. You just cant. If you do, you are only setting yourself up for potential extermination.
I suppose Ive ranted enough. Gods peace to you.

Garments, often called “Mormon underwear” by those unfamiliar with our beliefs, are a form of religious clothing used by some Mormons. In early adulthood, prepared Mormon men and women typically participate in the higher ordinances of the Mormon temple for the first time. During these ceremonies, they make sacred promises to God, including the promise to dedicate themselves to Him. The day these promises are first made is one of the most important days in the life of a faithful Mormon. From that day forward, Mormons wear their religious clothing underneath their “street closes” as a quite, inner reminder of the sacred promises made. Mormons don’t think of their garments as “underwear,” but rather a sacred reminder of their renewed dedication to God.
Mormonism is by no means the only religion that uses religious clothing as a symbol. Catholic clergymen have religious robes, protestant clergymen often use a distinctive “collar," Jews have their yarmulkes (skull caps), Muslim women wear the hijab, and the Sikh wear their turbans. I have even heard that some Orthodox Jews wear an undergarment with religions significance (the tzitzit), much like the Mormon garment.
Contrary to the allegations of many anti-Mormon bigots, Mormons do not believe that their garments are “magic.” They do not believe that garments necessarily “protect” them from physical injury. Garments serve only as a reminder of special promises made to God; because of this powerful religious symbolism, mocking the Mormon garment is a very offensive form of hate-speech.

Think of it this way!
1. Doesnt everybody wear underwear??
2. Dont they have to buy their underwear??
Underwear that they have to buy from HIS church means more money!! $$$
OH and Joseph Smith WAS A Mason and copied them and the occult ideas!
Quinn then outlines the following ten essential characteristics common to both occult rituals and the Mormon Temple ceremonies:
-They are revealed by God from the beginning, but distorted through apostasy.
-They place an emphasis on the worthiness of initiates.
-They include washings and anointings, a new name and garments
-They emphasize vows of non-disclosure.
-There are both "lesser" and "greater" rituals.
-They feature presentation of the ritual through drama.
-They contain an oath of chastity requiring strict purity and virtue of the participants.
-They feature prominent use of the sun, moon and stars as key symbols.
-The purpose of the ritual is to assist mortals to attain to godhood.
-They employ titles and offices of prophets, priests and kings to those in leadership.

I don't see that much of a connection to the Masons. Where did you find your information?
I don't know if it is normal for Angels to talk about because I have never met one.
I don't know. I just know that my God has better things to deal with than your underwear. Perhaps you need a hobby?

Why would God need to tell Israelites not to eat camels, pigs or rabbits (Leviticus 11:4-8)? Is He a dietician? You can eat locusts, but not some other 4-legged winged insects?
Why was a woman who birthed a male child "unclean" for a much shorter time than a female child? (Lev 12)

What? Who has provided the data that Joseph Smith is not wearing underwear, and what kind of special underwear do you believe is mandated by this "angel"? I have no idea where you acquired the data you are using to present your supposition, and I doubt if it exists.

It is a way to keep us mindful of our covenants without broadcasting them to the world. The symbolism is for our benefit, not the world's.
Who would have thunk that a society as progressed as ours would be so obsessed with other people's undergarments???

Exactly what is it you want to know? And why do you care what brand or style of underware anyone wears. It's really none of your business.
There is no such thing as a "mormon god". Our God is the same God that you worship. He is the God of the Old Testament. He is the God that Jesus Christ prayed to. He is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
By the way, there is no correlation between the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Masons. Sorry to burst your bubble.

Why don't the Mormons wake up and recognize they are being had. It is like Mohammad in 600 AD coming up with his writings and self claiming to be a prophet then along comes Joseph Smith penning a book saying it is from God . One can soon see by reading it that it is not of the same author as the Holy Bible. No mormons do not worship the same god as Yahweh they have been bought with another price not the blood of Christ. They deny the deity of Christ which also confirms they worship a false god. This nonsense of special underwear now tell me does that sound like something from the God of the bible! certainly not, totally inconsistent with the true word of God. It is a cult so anything goes.
