Look him in the eyes, smile at him. Flirt very gentley because he is a friend. I would say little small cute things like "I like those jeans or you look hot, I would just ask him, if he is looking for a girlfriend and leave it open for him to ask me why Im asking and then say becasue Ive been wondering thats all. If he presist to know why you want to know tell him that you think he is nice, and that you always have... then smile look in his eyes and walk away. Get his attention then make him wonder. Take it easy no funny stuff too fast.

I think just smiling a lot, and being positive will be enough for him to take the hint.
However, some guys are kind of dense, when it comes to perceiving someone likes them. You can always bake a batch of chocolate cookies to give him the hint, as well.

never tell a guy that u feel anything for him, show it but dont be too straight forward. dont let him know for sure that the signs u show mean u like him, he'll be thinking about it, wondering and during the process will start wondering how would that be being with u. trust me works 100%
