But Jesus Himself said that we are not to add or take away from the Bible. From Genesis to Revelation is complete. Why would He send another prophet, He Himself was the ultimate sacrifice. You cannot top it. Before Jesus died on the cross, He said it is complete, my work is done. There is absolutely no reason to send another message or prophet. You need to read the Bible. Maybe then we can talk about fulfilled prophecies.

There are prophecies about Jesus in almost every Old Testament Book.
And Paul finished all his writings within 60 years after Jesus died. Jesus had risen from the grave a long time before Paul had finished his letters, but there was still alot of people who had knowledge of incidents he wrote about. If he was wrong why was his letters never disputed. After all Jesus was hated by Romans and Jews, both would love a chance to deny the Christians something.

If a religious author’s writings do not speak according to the Holy Bible, there is no light in them (Isa.8:20 below).

Isa.8:20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, [it is] because [there is] no light in them.

What are you talking about? Jesus didn't write the Bible and Paul, who wrote the Bible, wrote it 100 years after Jesus died. So much for accuracy.

If you did not read the koran, then how do you know that jesus didn't change his mind. After all, in the 600 intervening years until the rise of islam, maybe events on the ground dictated a change in strategy.

Because Christians corrupted Christ's message through a false doctrine of idol worship (Jesus is not GOD) and atonement through faith alone. GOD probably sent Muhammad down to undo all the damage that the arch-Heretic Paul did.

how could you ask anyone to read the bible with an open mind when you can't read other religious texts with the same state of mind?

I agree with you. But educating yourself on other religions is not bad, but good for your growth in Christ. It has only brought me closer to Him and given me more of a voice when speaking to people of other faiths about him. We should be open to all knowledge, but still faithful to Christ. He does not want us to walk blindly... but "in all they getting, we should seek to gain understanding."
