Ignore them.

What annoying people want most is attention. So annoy them back by ignoring them. They will seethe at this behaviour and this is what you want.

my uncle has a wonderful way of contradicting anything you say. he thinks he is always right and will argue you to the bone about how he is right and you are wrong even when presented with facts and figures. he still claims he is right no matter what. anyway, i just let it go and say uh huh a lot around him and then i stear the conversation toward my direction. i ask about things that he likes and ask HIM questions so it is like he is teaching me. it makes him feel better and i get to know my uncle just a little bit more everytime. plus i am the only one that can handle him on a long term basis. no one else can stand him and it shows; i am the only one to invite him for holidays and i am greatful that i can. everyone, no matter how annoying, has some decernable quality. my uncles just takes a while to surface, but it's there. :)

The most annoying person I know is annoying by being themselves. They could be used as a secret weapon to frighten invaders away. How do I cope with them? I stay the heck away. It's the only way to deal with them.

Lol she constantly needs me to help her when she could have helped herself by just paying attention and then she keeps saying : i know it is annoying but i need the help.
She does not like to go out with us, she wont come sit in the common room cause she says it is too crowded and noisey, and she is always trying to get us to sit in the quiet rooms with her and not be sociable, i just say no and when she asks for help i tell her ok but she should have done this earlier
and it is water off a ducks back after a few hours.

Aaaaaagh. It's a girl I work with.

If someone is in the middle of a conversation and she wants to say something she begins to talk over the person speaking. If that person chooses to keep talking she then claps her hands or bangs on a nearby surface to stop them.

The last time she did this to me, I explained to her that I was in the middle of a conversation and I would hear her in a minute. She then got in a huff and stormed off.

She really bugs me!!!!!

She waits for very public family get togethers at Christmas time to have a go at humiliating me. She does it every year and doesn't even realise she's doing it.

I cope by pretending not to notice.
And by conforming.
Which sometimes feels like giving up.
But it isn't.
It's just survivial.
And it harms nobody.

I try to be patient with them and often have to give them a friendly reminder the behavior is unacceptable and I will offer several alternative ways that they may express themselves or be so bold as to ask them to eliminate the behavior that is rude or annoys ; you may need to seek more civilized company .

my mate always looks at a particular point on my face and acts suprised or confused when im talking, its subtle, but it's majorly annoying... i cope with it by waiting untill he has been talking for a while, then i turn around and walk away randomly... or just say to him " are you still here?"

funny

I know a girl that use to tickle me all the time. I think she just got really nearvous being around other people. (she has an anxiety disorder). It was sad, because she was really nice but she wouldn't leave me alone. And wouldn't stop getting in my space. So, I had to cut contact with her. =/ Some people just don't know when to stop, even when you tell them 'no'.
