my cat has a rodent ulcer on his lip and on his tounge is it contagious to humans in anyway or can i get sick from it his vet appointment is in 2 hrs

Rodent ulcer is an autoimmune disease and it not in any way contagious. It is not easy to treat.

How did you diagnose this?

One of my cats has this problem, she gets cortisone shots every three or four months and those really help. Also try changing the cat's food and food dish, plastic dishes and foods that contain high fish levels seem to contribute to the problem.
This is not contagious to humans or any other animal.

No. You are safe, but get the cat treated. It can be a long battle with these!!!!
