I got a new digital camera for Christmas, and I'm already having a problem with it.... I took the pictures that I liked and saved them into my favorites. Then, I deleted them all (the favorites were saved in the favorite file thingy) When I take out the memory card for the camera and try to transfer the pictures to my computer, the favorites aren't there. How can I get my favorites to save onto the memory card so that I can put them on my computer?

It's a Kodak EasyShare Z885. And the favorites weren't deleted, they're still on the camera, I just can't get them onto the memory card.

Once you "download" the photos to the computer the software may not be able to "see" such pictures. You may have to buy or download photo software to do this job. Your camer SHOULD have this software on the CD that came with it. Put the CD into the computer and "run" the softwware to install it and set it up.

Normally, I have just the opposite problem, my photo software wants to grab EVERYTHING and put it on the screen.

One more thing, you SURE you didn't ERASE the photos?
I ALWAYS take all my pictures and LOAD them ALL onto the computer and THEN delete those that I do not want. Then I clear the memory card for more room. This way I have a 100% chance of being the idiot that REALLY DID loose the pictures as opposed to someone like you with a genuine novice license that can feign 'I didn't KNOW"

You are going to have to use the usb wire you got with the camera, to get the pictures, The images are stored on the cameras own memory, not on the card

remove the card before attaching it to the computer

email me if you want, I'll help the best i can
