Furthermore, how can one manage to write everything about another person, even his darkest secrets in the bible when the author is not that person?
2) How did the people from the past know how they were "created" and wrote it down in the book of genesis? Who wrote the book of genesis? Is it adam or eve?
3) Are there passages or books that contridict each other?
I assumed that the qoutes with " " in the bible are words from God. If so, does that mean that the qoutes are divine, true and do not contridict, while the rest of the bible- we have to read it with care?

The Church compiled the books that compose the Bible today.
Many authors, through the ages, have been writing the Bible
When the books were written, they were put together by the Church
About the contradictions, there are none. The problem is that some people try to read the Bible without having any knowledge about it, and then, try to interpret it their own way
With such method, twenty people would read a passage, obtaining twenty different interpretations.
It would be like reading a book of Surgery without knowing anything about Medicine
Or trying to build a car without any knowledge of mechanics

By Moses in the wilderness. It was called the Pentateuch.

The first was called the law and the prophets. Consolidated by the Jews before Christ. Later, the New Testament by various scholars and groups.

Those that scribed the original text were merely told what to write by the Author--who, BTW, knows the mind and hearts of the individuals written therein.

Adam lived to be almost 1,000 years. There is good evidence that he lived to know Noah before the flood. His account was passed on from generation to generation.

God wrote it. Moses merely penned it to the scroll.

Depends on the verse in question. If you see "Thus says the Lord," before it--it's a guarantee. As for contradictions, read the link I gave. One must understand the Bible as a whole to be able to see the context of what is being said by God. The Almighty God is not a 3 dimensional being. God is deeper than any ocean and higher than the furthest reaches of space. Don't bring Him down to the level of human minds and their puny attempts at coming up with simpleton contradictions.

I am a Muslim/former Christian.
I have seen two documentaries on The History Channel entitled "Banned From The Bible". According to the Christian scholars/college professors who were interviewed, they all agreed that there were books from The Bible that were rejected for inclusion in the Bible Canon, such as "The Life of Adam and Eve", "Book of Jubilees", "The Book of Enoch", "Testament of Solomon", and "Acts of Paul and Thecla".
Years ago, I was looking up a passage from The Old Testament regarding Solomon's wives (1 Kings 11:3). I found something which I thought was confusing. In my mother's Catholic (Douay-Rheims) Bible, there were four books in The Old Testament all entitled "Kings". It wasn't the same thing in The New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures given to me by a Jehovah's Witness. In this Bible, it read 1 and 2 Samuel and 1 and 2 Kings. Those first two books in The Catholic Bible were really 1 and 2 Samuel; the other two books, 1 and 2 Kings. Personally, I found it puzzling why Christians, as a faith community, didn't have one standard, authoritative version of The Bible.
As for contradictions, I'm convinced that the 21st chapter of Genesis has them.

When was the first bible created?
The bible is made up of 66 books written by about 40 different authors spanning from 3000BC to 80AD.
The first books of the bible are the writings of Moses also called the Torah. These books have been preserved in Israel since they have been written by the Jewish people. Until 70AD the scrolls of prophets were located in the temple in Jeresulem and copies of the scrolls were in synagogues throughout the Roman empire.
The new testament was originally written between 40AD and 90AD. These documents were considered the word of God throughout the history of the Early Church. In 325AD the First Council of Nicaea officially deemed (recognized) the common writings of the New Testament as canon (Holy Scripture). The writings had already existed, and new ones were trying to be introduced along with new, corrupt theology, so the Council gathered together to officially agree on the historical writings along with the diety of Jesus.

As stated above, the bible is written by multiple authors. The New Testament is written by various people. Matthew and John were the actual disciples who wrote the accounts. The Apostle Paul wrote a number of letters from his first hand experences, and his writings are confirmed in the writings of Peter as being scripture. 2 Peter 3:15-16. Peter was one of the main disciples. Jude was brother of James the Disciple... etc.
2) Who wrote genesis? Moses wrote Genesis. If you read Exodus and Deuteronomy, you'll see that Moses spoke with God face to face. He went into a tent of meeting, and a cloud descended upon it and he wrote the words of God. Also geneological records were important to the people of that day. They kept geneologies all the way from adam to noah, to abraham, to moses and so on.
3) Contradictions - Most things that seem to be contradictions are things that are not examined closely. Often times something may seem like a contradiction when it makes perfect sense with the proper theological understanding. For instance, I looked up on of the contradictions that athiests claim about the bible...
John 5:31 If I bear witness to myself, my testimony is not true;
John 8:14 Jesus answered, "Even if I do bear witness to myself, my testimony is true...
They claim this is a contradiction, but if you take the time to read the context, and read the rest of the scripture taking into account that Jesus is God Himself, there is no contradiction.
Today someone asked about Genesis 1 and Genesis 2 and which day the animals were made. The Genesis 1 account was God creating Animals (from nothing). The Genesis 2 account was God looking for a Helper for Adam and He "formed" animals and sent them to Adam. Had the animals already been created? Yes. The genesis 2 account is a specific setting. Genesis 1 is a different setting, speaking of the whole earth, not the immidate area where adam was at.
It's much better to believe it all, or not believe any of it at all, than to pick and choose what to believe. I trust my very life to the bible, its accuracy, and it being the Word of God.

The majority of the authors of the bible are unknown. Moses tends to get credit for writing Genesis but that is highly speculatory at best. The Roman Emperor Constantine is normal given credit for the accumulation of biblical writings into the form we know today, that was in 320 AD, during which time many books of the bible were changed and omitted. As far as contradictions in the bible there are many. From the two versions of Genesis, which do not agree, to the several versions of Noah's Ark, which also do not agree, to the different versions of the resurrection, which vary. These are only a few of the countless contradictions, errors, and out right falsehoods contained in the 'perfect' bible.

The modern day bible was put together during several big "conferences" in around 330 ad. At these conferences people voted on which "books" to included in the bible and which to exclude (e.g. first council of Nicea, 325).
These conferences also discussed the divinity of jesus, debated whether he was god, the son of god or just a profit.
They debated the whole trinity thing as well.
After several big debates and much disagreement they came to the first bible and some theological guidelines for the new faith. The current bible is still different than this one though, there have been several changes and modifications - to include editing (added chapters in the book of Mark for example).
The bible is a work of fiction, by man, put together by men in power to keep power.
The bible is also chock full of contradictions - there are a lot of websites that will point them all out for you, my favorite being the genealogy of jesus found in Matthew 1:6-16 and Luke 3:23-31 (read it for yourself - what do you think?)
The bible is a collection of fairy tales.

Genesis was written by Abraham. way back then they wrote thing that they experienced, heard, seen, or what God told them to do and they stored them in the synagogue which went undisturbed cause it was considered a holly place after a couple more writing it was all gathered together and i believe king James revised it that is the reason why we have the king James version

Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy comprise only one book (Torah, Pentateuch).
