Brazilian is a nationality or a waxing technique, not a language. :-)
They speak Portuguese in Brazil. I do know how to speak (basic) Portuguese and basic Spanish. Here's a great website that offers online Beginners course in both languages.

www.bbc.co.uk/languages

This is where I learnt all the Portuguese and Spanish I know. I can help you if like, but my knowledge of French and Italian is more advanced that my knowledge of Portuguese and Spanish.

If you'd like any help, just email me.

well let me put it this way. There is no such thing as Brazilian, as you might know when the America's were found the Spanish from Spain came and conquered almost all of the Americas thats why almost all of south America including Mexico speak Spanish, while the English conquered the land know known as the U.S. while the French conquered part of Canada thats why half of them speak French, while (and this is all happening in the same time period by the way) Portugal, which is the country right next to Spain, conquered Brazil. Therefore Brazilians speak Portuguese.

I think you offended someone who reported your question to Yahoo! as being inappropiate. Try a few penpal services or online courses if you wanna pick up a second language.
I recommend you start with spanish.

Barzilian is in fact portguese but this is not the problem.

The problem is that yahoo doesn't have the man power to watch everybody so instead, they depend on other users flagging your question and so the problem is that some user just flagged your question and not that yahoo thinks it is inappropriate

Maybe because school's out and thousands of kids have nothing better to do? I can't see anyone getting so worked up over saying "Brazilian" instead of "Portuguese."

Sou Brasilero e não acho que falo Português, digo isso porque não consigo entender com clareza o que meu visinho diz (ele é Português).

I'm Brasilian and I think i dont speak portugues (of portugal), cause I cant understand cleary what my neighbor say (He is Portugues)

Seems a bit odd, to remove your question. I've seen lots more questions with lots worse gaffes. Sorta like asking someone to help you learn "British" and not "English."

Maybe you've upset someone here. Seems like a minor mistake. Is there something else going on??

Because there's no such thing as Brazilian, try Portuguese. And Portuguese and Spanish are DIFFERENT languages.

don't worry, someone has reported your question, and yahoo often deletes them without even reading them.

you can rephrase and ask again, and hope for the best.

questions are deleted all the time for no reason
