It doesn't hurt while playing just afterwards. When I'm sitting down I have a sudden urge to stretch it out.

The same thing happens to be but with my ankles. I was told to ice them really good after everytime you get done playing. It will start making them not hurt. Hope that this helped. It worked for me. Also I wore a brace around my ankles. So maybe while you play, you might want to wear a brace around your knees. You don't have to, but it might help a little.

knees dont hurt just from playing. Muscles get sore. Joints, like knees, ankles and elbows hurt because something is wrong. Torn cartilage is a pretty good guess. A lot of people have torn cartilage in their knees and dont know it.

Well you could see your doctor and find out what the problem is. Or you could ask for the covern of online nursing genii to come up with their usual over the top and quaintly bizarre responses. You choose.

Well it depends on your age. You should probably tell your doctor. Most likely you are just over-exerting yourself. Try taking some Advil, and hot bath should help. Some people swear by Shark Cartilage.

Get yourself some glucosamine condroitin and take it every day. It's a vitamin/supplement that helps aching joints. If you take it daily on a regular basis it will help with keeping your joints healthy and pain free. Believe me it works!

usually lack of cartilage. Take an anti inflammatory, ibuprofen or aleve before and after. go to Dr. you will be referred to arthroscopic dr. they fix acl's, shoulders, ect. he/she will probably refer you to physical therapy. I assume you have been an active individual for a long time. Wear and tear will eventually set in. sounds like your problem.
