Okay, you have to first understand that there is a HUGE difference in "Work from Home" opportunities and "Home Based Business" opportunities.
Work from home opportunities are exactly just that... work that you can do from the comfort of your home.
This type of work should NOT require an outlay/investment of money from your pocket to start, as you should be working for a legit company and or companies from the comfort of your home which obvioulsy has a lot of advantages.
A Home Based Business opportunity usually requires an invest or outlay of funds from you to get started as you would be running a business from the comfort of your home.
The latter, although very profitable and advantageous can also be very risky and time consuming if you don't know what you are doing, don't really have the mindset and willpower to own and operate a BUSINESS from your home or are dealing with a scam type business.
Being that you have asked for information about a Work From Home opportunity I will provide you with a company that I currently work for and you can investigate it to see if it's right for you.
This Work From Home opportunity/company is very pleasant I find personally and pays very well which can be done on a part time and or full time basis (part time you can make $300-$600 weekly/ Full time you can make $600-$1,500 weekly).
No experience is neccessary as they will provide you with training, it is a 100% COMMISSION ONLY position, No cold calling (clients will call you) and you are paid WEEKLY by direct deposit.
The requirements that you have to meet are:
* Be 18 years of age or older
* Have a GED or High School Diploma
* Must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week
* Have a active telephone number and Internet connection
* Be able to pass a background check
The position is for a Credit Restoration/Repair Rep and the company is New Age Career.
Feel free to go to their corporate website for further information (this is required before someone from their human resources dept will speak with you).
Go to http://www.newagecareer.com/
Hope this information helps you.

I have worked on my own for 6 years and worked Online for over 2 years. I currently do some Online marketing and just got started with a 'healthcare savings plan' company.
Working from home is not easy. It takes discipline, faith and patience. But, man are there great opportunities! What is funny is that, after you put some time into it, you can make more $ than most people who went to school for 4 years.
If you feel that something is a scam it probably is. But, I will say that people who say that everything Online is a scam and that you can't make money are ignorant and have never met the many people who have made millions.
If you would like to experience the freedom of working from home, but want a financial opportunity where the possibislites are endless, go to http://www.FreedomAtHomeTeam.com/JRussell34 and look around. Request an interview and I can tell you more. I love my job and I love the opportunity to be my own boss and push myself.
I have been scammed and tried so many things. In fact, before I came across this company, I tried working with a similar company. It was a big letdown, but this one is great.
It just takes time, but be patient! Good luck!

Working from home is not as easy as the Internet makes it sound. Personally I work from home and I make over $100,000 a year... but I work for a traditional employer that happens to have telecommuting benefits. They also have traditional offices where people go to work every day. I just happen to telecommute. If you're serious about working from home, it's better (in my opinion) to look for a traditional employer that offers this kind of benefit; it is getting more common all the time. What you'll find on the Internet when you ask about working from home is a lot of scams and things that don't bring you any real money.
If you have a marketable skill, sign up with a local headhunter (just do a search to find one in your area) or even a temp firm, and ask to be matched with an employer that allows telecommuting. At first you will probably have to go to the office, so that you can get trained and also so that your employer can get to know and trust you. But many companies (especially big ones) will let their staff work from home at least part of the time.

There are a number of real work-from-home jobs, but not the ones you'll find on the Internet. I know several people who work from home, mostly doing the work they used to do in the office, and now do it at home but for the same employer.
Some people also make decent money running their own businesses from home. But don't get sucked in by the ones you see on the internet or on emails - they are pretty much all scams.
