Body armor is not illegal.

However, committing a crime with body armor is, and will add time to the penalty.

I you feel you need it then by all means go ahead and wear it. There is nothing illegal about it providing you are not commiting a crime while you wear it. But please to remember one thing, I don't know, off the top of my head, that there is any body armor that will be complimentary to girlish features and attributes. No offense is intended there. Used to wear the darned things myself.

Do you mean a bullet-proof vest? As far as I know, it's legal to have one.

You can use it, but just not in the commission of a crime.
