ok so me and my bf went out until about a copuple weeks ago wen i ended it for various reasons, but then a few days before christmas he came to me and handed me a box and said it was for me and walked away. inside i found a coach wristlet and i dont know what to do. i asked him why he did it and he just said because he wanted to but i still think its akward since we're broken up....any advice?

Maybe he's had it for you since before you broke up but he couldn't return it.
You didn't say why you broke up, but I assume it was for a good reason. If you still have feelings for him, talk to him. Otherwise, I'd send him a thank you note and leave it at that.

Sure here's advice, a simple thanks would be appropriate. He had his reasons for doing it and if the only thing he could tell you is " because I wanted to" then its probably just a kind gesture on his part to show no hard feelings towards the break up. If your looking for another answer such as " does he still care" well you can't rely on jewelry to get that answer. ITS A CHEAP WAY OUT. He should find other ways to do that. Maybe he has already given you signs you just haven't noticed.

Things obviously didnt end on a bad note. Take the gift and dont feel guilty about it, it's something he wanted to do.

He must still want to be friends... he obviously still really cares for you... That's way nice of him... just tell him thanks or maybe send him a thank you card... and if you really love him and want to possibly get back together then just talk to him... good luck! : -)
