Thats because there is an inate knowledge from God even when ppl dont really understand it that true religion is found in the Holy Bible, and God tells us to check out all things according to His Holy Word to know what is true and what is not true. Does it line up with the word of God, line upon line, precept upon precept??? Cuz, when it does not, we know it is false. the only true religion, pure and undeviled, God says is the religion of the Holy Bible with the full teachings of Jesus Christ, that He was born, and died , resurrected and will come again to take us home.
Anything other than that is false religions, and on some level, ppl do know it, but many fight it.

Lets try some reason....
This section is predominantly visited by people from the USA who are Christian or have a Christian background.
There are others here, but on the whole most of them are Christian. Therefor, it makes sense that most of us are comparing your religion, and my childhood religion to others.
If this was an Indian site, we would be discussing Hinduism and Indian Atheists would be comparing Hindu to other religions.
To test your theory that Christianity is the belief that all others are compared to, go to a Muslim site and ask this very question.
You will find that in fact, it isn't, and you were only trying to find reason for your faith based belief, that doesn't really exist.
You should ask yourself why you are relying on fallacy to support your faith?

Well, i think it is so because it is an ancient religion, all developed countries r Christians, high number of the world r Christians, and a fast -growing religion.

Because that's the culture we live in. It's a different story in China, in India, etc. Read what Ghandi says about Christianity. Christianity is not universally the belief all others are compared to. In using this msg board as a reference you are severely limiting your search, as your conclusion makes clear.

It is not. This board is evidence only of this board, not general rules. If it were, the world would have far more Atheists than it actually does.
On this board people tend to address Christianity because it is the religion most dealt with in daily life, and therefore the main problem to be overcome.

I imagine it depends upon who is doing the comparing. In the West, it is the predominant religion so more people tend to know more about than others. It's kind of like the polls that compare other countries to the US.
