Pomeranian! Pomeranians are big dogs in little bodies. They're very playful and happy dogs. (Seriously, you can just tell that these dogs are bursting with happiness!) They do require brushing, though if you really really wanted to, you could get it's hair trimmed.

OK first of all dont get a puppy because of the way he looks, know the breed before you do. Once you know the breed and the pros and cons, than you can look at the looks.
FYI I am a BYB (BackYard Breeder) so to say, I have had breeders buy a puppy from me because they like what they see and the pedigree, background, previous buyers reports, so after you do your research, I would choose the second one, but they both are cute. Puppy mills are not the same as BYB, these pups look like family dogs.

First you really need to check out the breeders.
the Pom is advertised as a toy this is something I would not buy as there is no such thing as toy Poms. These are usually very small runts with health problems or they have been bred down so much they have health problem.A lot of these dogs do to bad health will cost a great deal in vet bills and often don't live that long.
The peke is cute but from what i can tell definite pet quality.

Both are irresponsible breeders and possibly puppy mills. There is no such thing as a toy pomeranian - it is just a word to fancy up runt, which usually has lots of health problems associated with being a runt. Yet they charge lots of money by calling it a "toy."

Go to a shelter or find a reputable breeders to purchase from. Never buy a dog online.

they both look so cute, but you cant just get a dog based on its looks.
spend some time with them both first and find out what their nature is and what you think will be the best for you.
but be prepared with these breeds of dogs they can get a lot of problems with their eyes and ears so be well prepared that this can happen and you are willing to take care for them.
it is totally up to you though on which one you get, you can not ask someone else what they want. it is you that has to look after it and care and love it.
good luck.

I agree. If you have your heart set on a certain breed, I'm sure there's a rescue in your area. Just google, for example: 'Golden Retriever Rescue California' (with your info, of course).

Much better for the dogs, plus they get to know you/your lifestyle and match you with the best dog for you- not just a pretty face.

Not enough information. Which breed better suits your life style? Which if either comes from a reputable breeder? From what I saw I'd say both are from BYBs.

They are both Adorable little puppies!
But I like the one in the 2nd pic,
He is really cute!

But maybe you could try looking at
your Local Animal Shelter...
or adoption center.....

There are millions of Dogs,
Needing a good home.

I would rather you get a dog/puppy
From a animal shelter
than get one of these two.
I'm not saying they are not cute
or anything like that....

But maybe you should try at your
Local shelter first.

and then if they don't have
your dream dog/puppy
you should pick one of the one's above!

I hope this bit of info helped! - M i M i

I wouldn't trust either place. Both look pretty suspicious for bad breeding.

Both are cuties. I would want to handle them and be sure I was not getting an aggressive little toot. Little dogs can be very controlling. Can you be with them for a visit? Do that and be sure they will let you hold them, turn them upside down without a fight, manipulate the feet, teeth, ears and tail.
They should not make direct eye contact (one sign of aggression)

Lots of luck.
