I want to dye my hair either blue or pink.
But I don't know what hair dye would be the best.
I was going to get manic panic but I heard it fades really fast.
I'm thinking about special effects ..
any suggestions?

HI, pinks in general last longer than blue based dyes with some shades such as Special Effects Atomic Pink being known to last for ages - mines personally lasts for around 12-16 weeks with only the roots needing topped up when noticeable. You can leave the dye on for hours without any damage to your hair as theres no harmful chemicals in it and the longer you leave the dye on the more vibrant the colour tends to be (just stick a dye cap on or cover hair with clingfilm to stop drips). i have not run into fast fading with manic panic. i tend to put a plastic cap on and sit under a dryer to cause it to take better, but honestly i don't know if that helps. Do pink with some blue highlights.
If your hair is dark, of course you will need to bleach it!!!

Keep your natural hair color! It's much prettier than other dyes. And it keeps your hair much healthier. If you have to dye you hair consider doing one streak in the front-- It looks better than your whole head. Or buy a wig so if you get tired of it you don't have to wait forever! Hope this helped.

use the pink after 2-3 weeks high light it blue

Neither one is going to last. They are both going to fade pretty fast because they aren't a "normal" hair color. Also depending on your natural color of hair they may not show up the way you want them to

If you strip the area you want to color, it will be more vibrant and last longer. Pink tends to fade faster, but you can always touch it up.

Ya it should turn some form of purple. Manic panic say that you can mix their colors to get different shades. id imagine if you get the color to look how you want it when mixed itl turn out pretty amazing. im going turquoise soon with a little help from manic panic :)

Pink will fade to a light pink.
And blue will fade to a pretty aqua color then to green.
So I would go with blue.

but i know nothing about what kind of dye to use so yea..
