Usually indicates bone loss/perio disease when your teeth "just fall out"...You need some x-rays taken a.s.a.p!

If it really is a wisdom tooth, then there is something going on in the bone. Teeth that just all of a sudden fall out indicates severe periodontal disease

The root system had to have rotted, broken or never developed. It would be smart to get to the dentist and have your mouth x-rayed just to be sure the other roots are OK.

do you want it back in there or not? may be an indication of a bigger problem. have it checked out.
