everyone she loves her little sister. She has always been jealous of me. Family says that we have hated each other for 555 years. I am 54! I am thinking about not talking to anyone in the family anymore and just let her have it. She makes it too hard for me.

I have a younger sister who behaves in quite the same way and it effects the entire family. Basically how we handle it as a family and to keep the peace, we all practice our etiquette when she's around, don't encourage her or join in on her tirades against other family members. She pretty knows she's not well liked, but that hasn't slowed her down any. She's just an unhappy person and this is what she does to make herself feel better.

No don`t do that. I know its hard to ignore also. When she belittles you or cuts you down just say HHHmmmfff jealous much? Or you know green really isn`t flattering on you..so on and so forth..
