When you're 35,she'll be 61 ! Think about it, people will assume she's your mom! You'll be a young stud with a 'granny' for a girlfriend!

Yes, as long as:

1) Both of you have a mutual respect for each other
2) You know her physical condition will change before yours

Understand though, at age 19, you think you know everything but you really don't; where as 45 years old have experienced much of the life's problems. Having an equal respect for each other would be very difficult.

Also, it will also mean, if this relationship continues, having a new family is out of question, and she will enter her retirement age much sooner than you would. Sooner or later, some of the "relationship" things (without being too explicit) may become difficult.

As long as both of you are ok with these limitations, go-ahead. There's nothing inherently wrong with this - so long as both of you know what you are doing.

As long as she's not your mother then I don't see anything wrong with it. You will hear a lot from people stating that its not right......but I myself am 31 and my husband is 24. The difference is not as great as yours, but age is just a number .....right? Now, I will tell you that this relationship will be hard for the simple fact that she may have a different idea about how to spend her free time. Another thing that you want to think about especially if you plan a long term relationship, is when your 30 she will be 56....when your40 she will be on medicare.....if you truely love her then this wont be a problem. If it bothers you even a little then stop seeing her before you both get hurt. I wish you happiness and luck and if you truely love this person then age is just a number.

whoa .. though i do believe in "age ant nothing but an number" you are way to young.. and im 32 years old. usually woman around that age wants something serious and you are too young to be thinking about that... you know you should be having fun with your friends, traveling, in college, etc. Unless the sex is good or you dont want anything serious from her and she wants nothing serious from you. I dont think its wrong.. but if my son was your age and dating an woman of that age.. i would flip( hes only 10 now.. lol) are you attracted to her...

Well that depends, if you really love her, then you are not, because there is no limit in age for love, maybe you just like older women, i don't think that you are wrong, just people are not used to see two so different people together so you might get a lot of critics, but if you love her then don't let her go away9maybe it's just that you need mothers love, but even if it's like that, then i'm glad you found it)
P.S. i hope i helped!

I wonder what is wrong with her. That age gap is to great to have a serious long term relationship. Just think of how you would grow old with this person, not gonna happen. You are just wasting your time and hers. Find someone closer to your age.

What do you think is wrong about that? Is it what other people say about it? Do you like her, do you have fun together? Whats the big deal? You're an adult, do what feels right for you.
