I haven't had my period in a while. about 4 months went to the doctor and am not pregnant. They gave me some hormone but it made me sick so I stopped taking it. Is there anything natural that can help? Will they prescribe me natural hormones if I ask? Or is this something I need to get somewhere else! Please help, I am eating well and exercising. So not sure what the problem is. Thanks! :)

I've already gotten all the blood work done and they came back normal. Thyroid, diabetes, etc.
I hope it is not perimenopause, I am in my early 30's and have no children yet! :(

Maybe it's a thyroid problem. I had the same thing happen, partly due to perimenopause and my thyroid was sluggish. You didn't say how old you are. Enzymatic Therapy Metabolic Advantage will help if that's what the problem is. It's a natural supplement from a reputable company. You can also check your thyroid at home yourself. Get a regular glass thermometer, a pencil and a piece of paper. Before you go to sleep at night shake the thermometer down and leave it by the bed within reach. As soon as you wake up in the morning, without moving a whole lot, put it under your arm, put your arm down and lay as still as possible and time it for 10 minutes. Write down your temp. Do this 3 mornings in a row and then average them out. If it's below normal or even lower your thyroid could use a boost. If it's not, then there is something else like maybe perimenopause to blame. Hope this helps

If your in the peri-menopause stage a natural alternative is bioidentical hormone cream. I get mine from www.askdrhelen.com The progesterone in this cream comes from the wild yam and it works great. My periods became very irregular coming every 2 - 3 months. I began using the cream and have now regulated to every 28 days. You rub a small amount of the cream, 1/4 tsp., on days 12 thru 26 of your cycle. The cost for one jar is $15.00 but because you use such a small amount it will last you about 6 months. On their website they have a short questionnaire that you can fill out to determine which cream you need. If you are having hot flashes they have one that has Red Clover in it to help with the flashes. I don't need that one, I use the Bioidentical Phyto Progesterone cream. I discovered the cream when I heard Dr. Phil's wife talking about alternatives to menopause. I knew I was never going to take hormone replacement therapy so once I heard about the alternatives I began to investigate the alternatives. Good Luck!

Well if the hormone they gave you was Premarin, it is a natural hormone. Many prescription hormones are from natural sources, not synthetic so ask.
