That my maid of honor loves my wedding invites soo much (i made them), that she said she'll buy the paper and such for my bridal shower invites and have me make them?
Is it MORE wrong that I WANT to do this?
I love this kind of stuff lol..gives me more things to put in my portfolio for upcoming business :)

place and time are no surprise to me, as i was asked when i was available and had to 'ok' the location (I didn't want it 20 miles out of town the opposite direction that everyone was coming, my mom is driving two hours to come to that shower)

It would actually look really good to have your bridal shower invites reflect the theme you are setting for your wedding. Have the Maid of Honor also use the colors you have picked out to for the wedding, to decorate with. That will make it even more memorable.

I still wouldn't do it. Even though it's not a surprise, you're not supposed to be involved in the planning. If you make the invitations, it's going to seem like you threw your own shower- and even if people don't know at the time, they'll figure it out when the wedding invitations arrives. Resist the urge, let your girls do it for you.

my my maid of honor asked me the same thing but after much though I did not let her, i wanted the surprise, so just take them to an office supply place or if you must make them, leave the date and time and place black and let someone else fill them in, congrats

If you love to do it and have no problem with it, then do it! This is about what makes YOU happy, not what everyone expects of you.

And besides it is your wedding, you can do whatever you want.

nothing wrong with it, seeing how you want to do it. if you didn't then might be a problem. at least you know you'll love the invites. its good all the way around.
