Type? latex: primer,flat,semi gloss,reg.,high gloss,sand, hide all./ Oil ? On the east coast a standard 5 gallon flat color is $36.-$42. plus tax. Want to save $$$ check out paint shop and home depots "paint goofs", that's when some one orders special tinted color & changes their mind. Alot of times you may get excellent paint at $1-$5 per gallon.

Dont bother Benjamin Moore is the only Paint you should use, find a dealer in your phone book(look for the symbol) if your looking to save a couple bucks use flat paint and ask for a five gallon bucket of Super Spec, its a grade of Ben Moore. Stay away from walmart, behr & Ace these are horribly cheap paints and you'll wind up with a bad finish no matter how hard you try

this is kind of cheap paint and doesn't cover very well. you'll probably end up spending the same amount on good paint and only have to put on one coat. sometimes the cheap stuff takes 2 to 3 coats before it covers. I know someone who ended up painting 4 times before it covered. I'd rather just paint once. Benjamin Moore or Behr is the way to go.

Don't waste your money. Walmart paint is cheap for a good reason. You won't spend much more to get a good brand of paint. I recommend Benjamin Moore, Sherwin Williams or Pittsburgh. Stay away from Walmart or Home Depot when buying paint.
