It is and it isn't . If they said they MAY or MIGHT give you a wii for Christmas, they didn't commit to it, so they don't need to follow through. If, however, they said "will", then they are being unfair. You need to pay close attention to what people say, but it's better to get things in writing as you have proof of an 'agreement'. Put it down to experience if they don't give you that wii.

Yup... "may" is the qualifying term there.
You know the first born kid usually gets all the perks, even long after he's moved out of the house.
Next time, insist on these types of agreements in writing, since you know where you stand with them.
Feel accomplished in having helped to earn your keep around the house, and continue to hold up your own end of things. Get a job after school and bank the money so you can get out of the house as soon as you can.

Ask them what happened to your Wii and tell them that it's unfair. I think it is. I mean you do some hard work to get what you want for christmas and you didn't get it. I mean, the Wii is kinda hard to find now a days. My uncle had to go to DC (from richmond VA) to get a Wii...

It is not fair. It is unfair and you should talk to you parents that you feel it is unfair and explain why.
