What kind of cameras do the photographers be using. It appears to be high mega pixels. When I look at Americas Next Top Model their pictures comes out flawless and with high quality. I will love to have one of them. Anybody know or something close to it?

I only watched that show a few times long ago... as I recall the shows I saw they were using DSLRs though I'm pretty sure I saw a Digial backed medium format camera on an episode.

As for the look... I think you'll find that they had perfect lighting and make-up artists for the girls... add to that the fact that pros took hundreds of pictures of each girl and you only see 3 or 4 of the best pictures... its easy to think it was a magical camera, but it was a combination of things... A great camera wont guarantee great pictures.

Its not the camera. Cameras don't take great photos: photographers do. Spend your money on photo classes, not expensive equipment that you don't know how to use yet. For modeling photos, I consider a thorough understanding of lighting to me far more important than the camera used.

If someone could help me figure out how to hook up a disposable camera to my pocketwizards.... ;)
