The tax prep companies aren't doing the same thing this year as they did before for RAL's. And even if you find someplace that's doing them, they would have to look at all your paperwork and decide whether to give you a RAL based on your self-employment income.

Did you make quarterly estimated payments through the year? If not, you probably don't have a refund to anticipate.

If you are expecting EIC based on your self-employment income, the IRS is looking more closely these days at those claims since it's an area where there is so much fraud.

And finally, the moving expenses have to meet very specific rules for you to be allowed to claim them.

When you go to file, the company you go to will decide whether or not they want to extend a RAL to you.

You do understand, right, that if you are self-employed, you will owe SE taxes? These will not be reduced by your moving expenses and if your withholding isn't enough to cover them, you may actually owe money.
