I blend up a fruit based drink (banana, mango, strawberries.... whatever I have at the time) with yogurt and protein powder (sometimes fat reduced milk depending on what fruit is used) and couple of fresh eggs thrown in.
I also have a multi vitamin supplement and a Vitamin B complex...
.... and a piece of toast with butter and vegemite of course....
then a cup of green tea!

Eggs. I always have eggs in one form or another.
My favorite is over easy. I love them all ways - except maybe scrambled by someone who doesn't know how to make eggs, so they're all dry and spongy. No thanks.
I need protein for breakfast, and because meat is too fattening to have every day, I'll usually have yogurt. I should tell you now how yogurt is great for you, introduces probioltics into your digestive system, but you should already know that.
Good call on the egg white omelet up there. If you want a great omelet, try a cottage cheese omelet, for extra protein and that great cheesy taste that doesn't feel greasy like an omelet with melted cheese -yuk.
Just stay away from empty carbs, like bleached flours and sweetened products like cereals. Toast made from white bread with a bowl of froot loops and a banana is not a balanced breakfast. It's the recipe for an obese society of stagnant people. Get up and off the couch and get it shape, America.

French toast is really easy to make for one person. Just beat one egg with about 3 tbsp or 1/4 cup of milk, add some sugar and cinnamon and cover the bread and stick it in the greased pan. This mixture is enough to cover 2 pieces of bread. I like to top French toast with peanut butter and syrup or some bananas and syrup.
Omelettes are also easy and wonderful! My favorite is using monterey jack cheese, tomato, bell pepper, and mushrooms!
Another good idea is breakfast wraps. Make up a few at one time because they freeze and reheat well if using egg and cheese.
Or oatmeal. Add some brown sugar, cinnamon, chopped apple. yum!
Happy Eating!
Enjoy!

Irish Oatmeal is great because it's so versatile, with butter or a substitute such as soy garden add the following:
1) cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar,
2) add apple butter or favorite fruit jam, to number 1.
3) add nut butter to apple butter in # 2, cashew works well.
4) use maple butter and omit or lessen brown sugar to # 1
5) thawed and drained frozen fruit or frozen berries to # 2
6) coarsely chopped pecans or other nuts to #'s 1-4
7) steamed dried figs, apricots or other dried fruit with # 1
8) if you don't have time for #7 moisten dried fruit with agave nectar in refrigerator overnight or clear juice just before # 1

I am actually very, very Dutch when it comes to breakfast.
No cornflakes, yogurt or muesli usually.
It's just a few slices of bread with peanut butter, jam or chocolate sprinkles, and a cup or two of coffee.
And a soft boiled egg if I find the time to fix that.
Nothing fancy at all, if that happens it's generally for lunch.

If I'm in a hurry - a banana and a piece of string cheese or a prepackaged protein shake (myoplex lite brand)
If I have time to kill - egg white omlet and a piece of whole wheat toast. If I am super hungry I will throw in a 1/2 cup of cottage cheese.

Fruit mixed with yogurt with a little granola on top. It's tasty and satisfying. Slow release sugar. I won't get you hyped only to crash by 0930. Try plain yogurt and a mixture of strawberries and blueberries (antioxident). The granola will give it a little extra exitement. You're making me hungry for breakfast. This is a good mid afternoon snack too. I think I'll have one THANKS :)

Kashi cereal (usually Strawberry Fields), 1% fat milk, 4 ozs of orange juice, and, at times, a muffin or a peice of wheat toast, with one pat of butter.

I usually don't eat breakfast because I wake up too late and have to rush to work.
If I do have time, it's usually cereal and fruit.
