Can someone point me to some verses in the bible that talks about God's punishment of habitual sinners?

Again, I'm in the forgive and forget argument with a spouse.

Thanks.

Hbr 10:26 ¶ For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

Hbr 10:27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

IF SIN is IN
GOD is OUT

if GOD is in SIN is OUT

many many scriptures through out the BIBLE

IF one is living in SIN
they are alone and without GOD

and HIS pertection is no longer there
they have left the ark of safety
and are on thier own

GOD KNOWS mans heart....HE ALSO knows what you are doing and going to do...before you ever do it

ONE MUST " Come out from among the world and be ye seperate and touch not the unclean thing , and i will recieve you unto myself "

If you are still unclean and handling the unclean
GOD does not nor cannot recieve you to himself

To be friends with the world is enmity to GOD

you cannot serve TWO Masters !!!

and if one is going to live for GOD
they are as He said they must be
" BE YE HOLY , for I AM HOLY"

so again

if SIN is IN
GOD is OUT

and if GOD is IN
SIN MUST be OUT !!

HE WILL NOT LIVE in an UNCLEAN TEMPLE
nor can HE !!!!!!!

YOU are HIS HOUSE or are suppose to be
and if your not FILLED with GOD

YOU will be filled with something else
thats not GOD !!!!!

and it says this in Luke11: 25 i think it is and i will paraphrase it this way

" when the evil spirit ( sin)goes out of a man , it walks in dry places and finding NO rest , it says i will return from whence i came....and on RETURNING he finds the house swept and garnished....and then he come and brings 7 more worse then himself with him and takes abode there , and the last state of that man is worse then the first "

IF ONE REPENTS and IS NOT FILLED WITH GOD
and thier HOUSE(person) is Swept and garnished
then it is empty and then that which was there will COME BACK IN..and bring with it 7 worse then itself....and you will be worse the second time then you were the first time .......

SIN just keeps getting worse and worse and easier and easier to do..........and your desire will get more and more to fullfill those lusts...no matter what it atkes to do it..........THUS as it is written worse then at first !!!!!!!!

I've been reading Ecclesiastes.

Ecclesiastes 7:8-9
The end of a matter is better than its beginning, and patience is better than pride.
Do not be quickly provoked in your spirit, for anger resides in the lap of fools.

I think this book has a lot of useful things about letting go about what is meaningless. Plus the book is real short... I hope it helps...isn't it a great to know you're never alone. Anyhoo keep praying...

Edit: Another one!!
Luke 9:23-24 And he said to all, "If any man would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it; and whoever loses his life for my sake, he will save it.

We are all habitual sinners.
If not for God's mercy, we would stand no chance of Salvation.

Perhaps it's best to focus on God's Mercy than God's punishment.
